FOR BIDS****** Separate and sealed proposals will be
received by the Bradford City Water Authority at the Authority office located
at 28 Kennedy Street, Bradford, PA 16701, until 1:00 p.m., prevailing time,
on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, and opened and read immediately thereafter for
the following project: SOUTH
AVENUE WATER LINE REPLACEMENT CONTRACT
NUMBER 24-2 Bidding
Documents will be made available, via email, and at no charge by contacting
Bankson Engineers, Inc., at csimoni@banksonengineers.com. Printed copies of the Bidding
Documents may be obtained at the office of Bankson Engineers, Inc., 267 Blue
Run Road, Suite 200, Cheswick, PA 15024, (412 767 5100). Contract Number 24-2 Bidding Documents are
available for the nonrefundable fee of $75.00 per set which includes the
Contract Specifications book. Addenda,
if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on
record at Bankson Engineers, Inc. as having obtained the Bidding
Documents. Bids will be accepted only
from Bidders who have obtained official sets of Bidding Documents from
Bankson Engineers, Inc. and who are on Bankson Engineers, Inc.’s list of planholders. Each proposal shall be accompanied by
a certified check, cashier’s check or bidder’s bond in favor of the Bradford
City Water Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the
amount of the proposal. This Contract is subject to the
provision of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not
less than the minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of
Labor and Industry, as shown in the applicable schedule. No bid may
be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time
for the receipt of bids. The Authority
reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to

Bradford City Water Authority has for sale to the highest bidder one 2014
Dodge Caravan with mileage of 110,140.
The vehicle may be viewed by appointment only. Please call the Water Authority Office at
814-362-3004 to schedule an appointment. Bid forms
may be obtained at the Bradford City Water Authority, 28 Kennedy Street,
Bradford, Pennsylvania, 16701. Sealed
bids shall be received until 2:00PM, Tuesday October 22, 2024. A bid opening
will be held at that time. Sealed

Director ******ADVERTISEMENT****** The Bradford
City Water Authority intends to undertake a meter replacement project. This
project includes the replacement of water meters for the Authority’s
customers. The project is located in the City of
Bradford, and the Townships of Bradford, Foster and Lafayette. It is
anticipated that this project will have an impact on the current water rates.
Supporting documentation can be reviewed at the Bradford City Water
Authority, 28 Kennedy Street, Bradford, PA 16701. Written comments will be
received at the Bradford City Water Authority. This project is being
considered for a Categorical Exclusion from environmental review
requirements. |
